The newly formatted NADCA General Specification in CSI 3-Part Format describes the minimum requirements necessary to coordinate a successful commercial HVAC system cleaning project. This specification has been developed for engineers, architects, specifiers and facility managers to use for the development of commercial HVAC system cleaning specifications.
This document can be modified to accurately account for the unique system variations within an individual building. The use of this specification in and of itself is no guarantee of a successful project. Sufficient coordination by the owner, including the selection of a qualified contractor, is equally as important as a good specification. This document was created for projects performed in the United States of America.
For projects outside of the U.S., users of this specification are advised to consult the applicable laws, standards and regulations of their country to ensure that the contents of this specification do not conflict with such statutes.
